$190 Million High-Water Mark for Research Florida State University tallied a total of $190 million in external support for research and scholarship in FY 2005-06, setting a new record in sponsored research for an institution that in 2007 celebrates its 60th anniversary as a university. The amount represents an 18 percent jump from awards posted during the previous fiscal year.
