Cornerstone Programs
(updated 8/15/07)

The Florida State University Research Foundation (FSURF) Cornerstone Program was created in 1998 to aid FSU faculty in research support.

There are currently the two competitive funding programs administered by FSU’s Council on Research & Creativity (CRC): Arts & Humanities Program Enhancement Grants (AHPEGs) and the Social Science PEGs (SSPEGs). Please click on the links in this paragraph to be connected to AHPEG and SSPEG program overviews for more information about these two programs. Also read the announcement memo from the vice president for research by clicking here.

Participation is open to all Florida State University faculty who are eligible to apply for external support. Individuals desiring exceptions to the eligibility policy should submit a written request memo or email to the Vice President for Research with supporting rationale from the appropriate Department Chair, Dean, or equivalent official.

They are known as the Equipment and Infrastructure Enhancement Grant (EIEG) and the GAP funding program.
