Energy-Related Research Interests:

• Designing low power digital hardware circuits, particularly those suitable for implementation with field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs).
• Using power-aware computing approaches to manage the power needs of embedded microprocessor systems, with emphasis on reducing power consumption.
• Developing ways to integrate algorithm design and implementation design to achieve significantly lower levels of power consumption.
• Developing low power embedded sensing networks for monitoring and control of civil infrastructure.
