The next FSU Magnet Research and Development, Inc. board meeting will be Tuesday, November 17 beginning at 4:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the 109 Westcott.

CReATE Training Scheduled

The Office of the Vice President for Research has scheduled its thirteenth CReATE workshop. This will be a 2-day intensive overview of the proper administration of grants and contracts held September 24-25, 2009. Although faculty are encouraged to attend, the course, Compliance and Research Administration Training and Education (CReATE), is especially designed for college/school, departmental, and center/institute staff who manage and administer sponsored research grants and contracts. Lunch & Learn Series

Sponsored Research is pleased to announce its inaugural schedule of Lunch & Learn sessions. These informative sessions are scheduled for every second Wednesday of the month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. You bring your lunch. Drinks and dessert will be provided. Each month a different topic of interest to the FSU research community will be covered. Depending on the subject matter, sessions will be led by a staff member of Sponsored Research Services, Sponsored Research Accounting Services, FSU Research Foundation, or other units of the Office of the Vice President for Research.
