Oak Ridge National Laboratory is managed by the University of Tennessee and Batelle. Florida State University, along with seven other institutions (Duke, Georgia Tech, NC State, Oak Ridge Associated Universities, Virginia, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech), is a core university partner in the research and educational mission of ORNL. As a consequence, FSU faculty, postdoctoral fellows and students are in a unique position to take advantage of the facilities and collaborate with scientists and engineers in Oak Ridge.
