IGNITE Mentor Program

Our mentor program, available to IGNITE clients and FSU/FAMU spinout companies, connects startups with seasoned industry professionals eager to share their expertise.  We’re looking for experienced entrepreneurs and executives to help guide and support the next generation of tech ventures. As a mentor, you’ll build meaningful relationships, foster growth, and help unlock each startup’s full potential—bringing out the best in everyone involved.

Participant Expectations

The IGNITE mentorship program offers a structured, flexible experience that includes a kickoff meeting, training session, matchmaking, and two group check-ins. Mentors and mentees commit to 2–4 hours together each month, with additional monthly check-ins with the IGNITE team. Meetings can be in person, virtual, or by phone, and all participants are expected to maintain professionalism and confidentiality throughout the program.
