Federal Update Session Slides

Today, the FSU Office of Federal Relations provided an update on initial and anticipated actions of the Biden Administration and 117th Congress. Topics covered included COVID-19 relief, FY21/22 appropriations, executive and congressional priorities, and steps of engaging the Florida congressional delegation and new administration. Post-Midterm Elections Federal Update Workshop 11/15 and 11/16

If you're interested in finding out how the midterm election results will impact research and/or student aid, plan to participate in an upcoming federal update session. The FSU Office of Federal Relations will host an update session on the main campus on Thursday November 15 at 3pm and on the southwest campus on Friday November 16 at 3pm. In addition to sharing insights on the midterm election results, a recap of FY19 spending levels for relevant federal agencies/programs will be shared as well as an outlook for the FY20 budget/appropriations cycle. Staff will also provide guidance on engaging the congressional delegation and federal agencies.

Naval Research Seeking Summer 2018 Interns

The Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) is seeking interns to work in Department of Navy laboratories next summer. Participants spend 10 weeks during the summer conducting research in one of 38 labs, including four in Florida. The application deadline is October 31, 2017.

SBIR/STTR Innovation Summit to Take Place in Tampa
