Assistant Vice President Research Administration

As a member of the executive leadership team within the Division of Research, the AVP for Research Administration provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all sponsored research activities at FSU. Reporting directly to the Vice President for Research, this role is pivotal in shaping the university’s research infrastructure and ensuring compliance, efficiency, and excellence in research administration.

Clinical Research Coordinator

This position collaborates with faculty, staff, students, and healthcare providers to develop and implement clinical research protocols. Provides regulatory support and provides guidance on electronic data capture systems . Consults with researchers on FDA, HIPAA, and Common Rule compliance and supports participant and site recruitment.

IRB Administrator

This position conducts pre- and post-review of assigned human research and related submissions by applying applicable laws, policies and procedures; documenting all required and other findings; and communicating outcomes or need for clarification from researchers and study staff with a focus on exemption determinations.
