Research Community Advocates for $2.5B NIH Increase
FSU joined over 300 organizations in a statement recommending a $2.5 billion (6.4%) FY20 increase for the National Institutes of Health. The FY20 appropriations process will officially kickoff next week with the release of the president's budget request to Congress. In the weeks that follow, appropriations subcommittees will engage rank and file representatives and senators, agency officials as well as stakeholders to help guide their decisions on FY20.
