Temporary Funding Bill Signed as FY21 Begins

Today, President Trump signed a continuing resolution that will provide temporary funding for federal agencies through December 11th. The bill was approved with significant support in the House (359-57) and Senate (84-10). The measure will allow Congress to punt consideration of final FY21 spending bills until after the election. The post-election lame duck session will also likely include further debate of a next phase COVID-19 recovery bill.
