Active Adaptive Low-Pass Filter Control for Power Electronic Converters

A digital control method that builds on the principle of active damping using a virtual memristor low pass filter which adjusts the cutoff frequency based on the output voltage in a way such that adaptive response to transient features is achieved.  Implementation is done by linearizing the equations governing the behavior of a memristor and directly programming the control algorithm onto a digital signal processor.  Greater stable operation area is covered by the controller, as opposed to conventional active damping control.
