Deadlines for Key Funding Opportunities
Welcome to the Funding Bulletin from the Research Development team!
You can find on this page a table of Limited Submissions funding opportunities that have upcoming deadlines. You can also find tables of key funding opportunities in the Arts, Humanities, & Anthropology; Social Sciences; Health; Science & Technology; and those in other disciplines or that cross multiple disciplines. These tables highlight programs honored by FSU's Extraordinary Accomplishment Program, career development awards, notable annual/cyclical awards, and other valuable opportunities.
To get the most out of the Funding Bulletin, be sure to check for funding opportunities not only under the tab for your discipline, but also under the tabs, "Limited Submissions" and "Other & Multidisciplinary."
For additional information on Corporate Research Funding Opportunities, please connect with the Business and Industry Solutions team.
To expand your funding search further, explore Pivot, a web-based discovery tool compiling thousands of funding opportunity announcements. To receive updates from Research Development, sign up for the RD listserv here. For a personal consultation, reach out to the RD team (RD@fsu.edu). You can find staff support contacts for each discipline here.
Upcoming Deadlines for Limited Submissions
Please note: FSU Limited Submissions has moved to InfoReady! Please join us at the new FSU InfoReady Limited Submissions microsite.
This table compiles limited submissions funding opportunities from all disciplines.
Limited submissions programs are those which restrict the number of applications which an organization may submit. FSU screens pre-applications to determine which PIs will be permitted to advance applications on behalf of the university.
- In our standard limited submissions process, FSU sets an internal Notice of Interest Deadline; PIs should submit a Notice of Interest to be considered.
- In our Accelerated Limited Submissions process, FSU sets an internal Concept Paper Deadline on a rapid deadline; PIs should submit a Concept Paper to be considered.
After the Notice of Interest Deadline or Concept Paper Deadline passes, if application slots remain, FSU makes application slots available to PIs on a first-come, first-served basis.
To submit a Notice of Interest or Concept Paper; to view the complete listing of limited submissions programs; or to learn more about the limited submissions processes at FSU, visit the FSU InfoReady Limited Submissions microsite: https://fsu.infoready4.com/#LimitedSubmissions.
For assistance with limited submissions programs, please contact the Limited Submissions Coordinator, Dr. Carolyn Bradley (cbradley@fsu.edu).
