Deadlines for Key Funding Opportunities

Welcome to the Funding Bulletin from the Research Development team!

You can find on this page a table of Limited Submissions funding opportunities that have upcoming deadlines.  You can also find tables of key funding opportunities in the Arts, Humanities, & Anthropology; Social Sciences; Health; Science & Technology; and those in other disciplines or that cross multiple disciplines.  These tables highlight programs honored by FSU's Extraordinary Accomplishment Program, career development awards, notable annual/cyclical awards, and other valuable opportunities.

To get the most out of the Funding Bulletin, be sure to check for funding opportunities not only under the tab for your discipline, but also under the tabs, "Limited Submissions" and "Other & Multidisciplinary."

For additional information on Corporate Research Funding Opportunities, please connect with the Business and Industry Solutions team.

To expand your funding search further, explore Pivot, a web-based discovery tool compiling thousands of funding opportunity announcements.  To receive updates from Research Development, sign up for the RD listserv here. For a personal consultation, reach out to the RD team (RD@fsu.edu).  You can find staff support contacts for each discipline here.

Upcoming Deadlines for Limited Submissions

This table compiles funding opportunities from all disciplines which are Limited Submissions programs.

Limited Submissions programs are those which restrict the number of applications which an organization may submit.  FSU screens pre-applications to determine which PIs will be permitted to advance applications on behalf of the university.  FSU sets an internal Notice of Interest deadline for Limited Submissions programs; PIs should submit a Notice of Interest prior to that deadline in order to participate in the subsequent internal competition.  After the Notice of Interest deadline passes, if application slots remain, FSU makes application slots available to PIs on a first-come, first-served basis.  To submit a Notice of Interest, view the complete listing of Limited Submissions programs, or learn more about the Limited Submissions internal competition process, visit: https://www.research.fsu.edu/limitedsubmission/.

For questions regarding Limited Submissions programs, contact the Limited Submissions Coordinator, Dr. Carolyn Bradley (cbradley@fsu.edu).
