Get started on your funding search with Pivot, an easy-to-use searchable database for finding funding opportunities. Pivot provides information about funding sources for science and non-science researchers.

FSU’s Office of Research and the Graduate School are excited to offer Pivot, a powerful discovery tool to help researchers in every discipline achieve their immediate and long-term research goals.

Pivot is a web-based program which: 

  • Compiles funding opportunity announcements from public and private sponsors, allowing researchers to easily search for solicitations (28,000+ funding opportunities from 15,000+ sponsors totaling $143 billion+ in awards) 
  • Houses scholar profiles, allowing researchers to search for and connect with collaborators (3 million+ scholars) 
  • Enables researchers to save their tailored searches for weekly alerts 
  • Proposes funding opportunities to researchers based on their scholar profiles

Limited Submissions Opportunities

Limited Submissions are  funding opportunities in which the sponsor only allows a specific and limited  number of proposals from a given institution.
