Writing to Win: An Interactive Workshop on NSF Grants
Tuesday, April 7, 2027 | 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Virtual (Zoom)
Hone your proposal writing skills in this interactive workshop! Research grant proposals are a genre unto themselves, and it is a valuable skill in the researcher's repertoire to be fluent in both grant writing and scholarly writing. In this workshop, you will learn what makes for a well-written NSF grant proposal, and then we will get our hands dirty and WRITE! We will foster a supportive learning environment and offer you a framework for making your NSF proposals more compelling.
This workshop is intended for FSU faculty researchers from all disciplines. Postdocs and graduate students are also welcome. To get the most out of this workshop, we request that you bring a draft 'one-pager' of a proposal you are working on.
Note: A Zoom link will be distributed to pre-registrants.
Speaker Information:
This workshop will be led by FSU Research Development Coordinator Dr. W. Jared Parmer. Questions? Please contact Dr. Parmer here.
