Training

The Division of Sponsored Research offers a wide variety of training opportunities for campus faculty, staff, and students. Please click on the links below for additional information:

eSPEAR - The Online Sponsored Research Administration Certificate Series

The eSPEAR certificate series will be replacing the existing in-person Sponsored Research Administration Certificate Series and our SPEAR (Sponsored Projects Education & Resources) Workshops. Unlike the existing certificate and workshops, eSPEAR will be offered in a mainly online format in Canvas. This will allow administrators to access the information when needed, rather than waiting for a class to be offered.  It will initially be comprised of ten (10) modules, which must be completed in order.

Once all 10 courses are completed, each person registered for this certificate series will be required to complete the Final Capstone Course which will be a hands-on case study team assignment which will allow all the members to apply what they have learned within the 10 eSPEAR courses.  The eSPEAR Certificate will be earned upon completion of the 10 courses and the Capstone Course.

For information on registering for this certificate series, please visit the eSPEAR Certificate Series Information page
