SPEAR (Sponsored Projects Education & Resources) Workshops

Sponsored Research Administration provides two full-day workshops that follow the life cycle of a sponsored project from funding announcement through close-out of the award. The information and activities are geared toward employees that are new to or have little experience working with sponsored projects. For more information about the workshops please click here

FACET (Faculty Assignments, Commitments, & Effort Tracking)

FACET is Florida State University's official employee activity reporting system. The Office of Institutional Research (IR) and the Division of Sponsored Research (SR) provides training classes each semester on the effort certification process. Sponsored Research Administration Certificate Series

This certificate series offers an opportunity for FSU sponsored projects support staff (central and departmental) to further develop and enhance their knowledge and skills related to the management of sponsored funding. Additional information concerning the Series can be found on the HR Training website. The courses will be offered several times throughout the year, a schedule of classes can be found here.
