NSF CAREER Grant Writing Retreat

Workshop Overview

As the NSF CAREER grant application deadline grows near, OPD offers a day-long writing retreat where faculty can work on CAREER grant applications.  CAREER applicants can write in a quiet, focused, comfortable space within the historic Longmire building.  The Mina Jo Powell Alumni Green is located just outside of the Alumni building and is a nice place to take a break.  In addition, OPD will provide the following:

  • Morning coffee and snacks
  • Lunch
  • Afternoon snacks

Adjacent to 204 Longmire is a small meeting room.  Throughout the day, experts will be available to answer faculty questions.  If you want to discuss a topic, they will be available as you like in the small room.
